ok, only for this time.
We have experimented the utility to fix bads in Mx and works, and we do not work with one or 2 mx but with more the 2000 of them.
We have tryed with some seagates too, but untill now the number of disk is not signficant.
The util is not like PC3000 or HRT , the propose is more to work with P-list so why you do not try to see for what propose this util is better ?
Maxtor PC3k util does not handle ( in manual and also in util ) more then 4000 defects.
Just read and pay atention

have tried Salvation Seagate Repairer Pro, works great with Seagate U6/U8/U10.
it's even more superior that PC3000 ISA if we talk about Seagate drives, for the reason that it can move G to P, reset SMART & Password, disable/enable heads, auto-correct firmware modules, etc.
u guys can never put down Asians, and don't ever forget how Japan kamikaze bombers pounded hard on Hawaii in 1945!

May I know how much you know about salvation data products and what products you have? I hope you really have some original salvation DATA products.
You have taken a long time to post reply dear Laura. Yes I am a ACE Partner. But for your very kind information i have never pushed the product on this forum or to any one else.
But can you justify the Amarbir problem. He is still struggling with your product. And to many Salvation User I have personally helped them. even tough they are having your product.
But all of us in this forum has never seen a single solution for a problem from a Salvation.
"What we always see that you come in any post with your marketing material. Buy this this is good, and you always with same intention."
Please Provide solutions on this forum
Else. Stop marketing in each post. Now its really irritates
(sorry Maysoft. I don't want to be harsh. but Laura does nothing else then marketing.)

Darkforce,
Yes, I am back again. Amarbir will buy the Maxtor and Hitachi, he will own all series salvationDATA products. You can ask him.

I am not marketing on each post. I just protect my company's reputation from vicious libeling.
Yes, you have never pushed the product on this forum or to any one else. You just denigrate your competitor.

Hello Laura,
I think your site material about Hitachi repair possibilities is quite nice, but ......
I asked question concerning most popular Hitachi fault some time ago.
Problem : "Error reading open modules table" as in ace program and some others.
So, I asked your tech support if they have solution - I want to know for interest,
Cause, if you can't solve this problem then maybe program is not so good.
I got about three answers, but each one was useless and the last reply was a question ;
Your tech support asked : "What model exactly is the problem"?
So I replied that problem is not model specific and then lines went dead.
So, I did not recommend this product, which does seem ahead of aceya.
Success!

Dear coffee Sir,
AS the Problem : "Error reading open modules table" as in ace program and some others.
Our support people doesn't know very well because we have no insterest in studying other company's product.
We have not found the error message in our HD Doctor for Hitachi. I think you can ask ACE technical support for this question, they know better about their prodcuts than us, I think.
You can tell us what the model of your disk, let all the guru have a diagnosis. If this model is supported by Our Hitachi of SalvationDATA and no such error message, then it will not be late for you to sum up your conclusion.
Best Regards
Laura

"Error reading open modules table" is not the utility problem
Guys utility is a tool
Use your brain to solve problem
Do not wait for "monkey button" in each utility, it will never happen.
I am not using PC3K or SD products or any other commercial products to work with drives' SA.
But I can fix 90% of SA problems of any drive model.
The "monkey button" utilities it's evil - they dilute your brains

Doomer ,
The only tool is your brain? Amazing.
