ST9320325AS F3 drive

October 20th, 2010, 15:08

Get the following terminal output:
Rst 0x08M
RW cmd 002F req = 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 00 00 A0 E1
opts = 00000000

RW Err = 84150180

Does anybody know what this means exactly? If it is not permanent platter damage, is there a solution?

Thank you in advance.

Head exchange did not help. Still clicks the same way and with same terminal output. So, it looks like platter ddamage. Anybody else has had success :| recovering this model drive after head exchange?

There's a few things you can tell us to understand the situation.
What were the initial symptoms of the drive? Are you sure that heads you replaced are compatible? have you returned donor heads to the donor drive and check his state?
