You need to check if its IDE or SATA and get the correct USB enclosure.
Your Mac should be able to detect the hard drive--- but i recommend using another Windows based computer or your Mac might end up all fucked up too..![]()

THis are very similar deisigns to your l350 and taking the hdd out is simple 2 screws remove pull toward your self/ or pull upwards.
Turn on the notebook and put you ear near the place where the HDD should be- if the ticking is definitely coming form the HDD then its bad luck
other wise try this...

Try and buy something like that.
If you connect the hdd to that and it clicking/ticking/knocking.. Bad luck mate. You will need to find a specialist.
