Seagate ST3750640NA Firmware Dump

November 27th, 2010, 22:16

I have a failed drive from a RAID array that has custom firmware, and the drives are no longer available from the manufacturer. Anyone have any idea how to do a firmware dump, and put it onto a generic seagate drive of the same kind?

Hi,

First of all, do you need to recover the data on the RAID array?
If so, you should be very careful to what you'll do that drive, or you may lose your data for good.
