Not so hard. There are plenty of post here and all over the internet on this one. You can search here for 7200.11 or 7200.12 busy or 0 LBA and you will find all that you need to know and plenty of guides and what nots. Just search

Here is the "standard" 7200.11 DIY bug fix procedure:

ES.2 drives use the same procedure, but with a little twist:

Which interface cable / circuit are you using?

If you are using a USB-serial TTL cable, then you need to install the driver for the USB-RS232 bridge chip. This should have been supplied with the cable.

i am using a USB to IDE / SATA cable with separate power cable

so do I use the IDE/SATA driver or USB to 232?

The drive has a 4-pin connector for serial terminal access. You need a separate interface cable/circuit to access the Tx/Rx pins in this connector.

say fzabkar:

ok - I was thinking a terminal report could be done with the IDE/SATA cable - the 3/4 pin cable was for the bricked /BSY HD

order cable - will report once I get all this figured from the OVERCLOCKED site direction

cheers for your patience

enjoy weeks end
