I accidentally put cable, that has SATA power connectors, to wrong slot to the modular PSU and my HDD and DVD writer burned when I turned power on.
Now HDD don't do nothing when I connect it to pc. No spinning sound or clicking or anything. I tried to switch another pcb from newer Seagate hdd (7200.12). HDD spinned, but not properly. Bios sometimes recognized hdd somehow, but never properly. I know now that changing wrong pcb could do more harm than good, but I hope that there are still some chances to get datas recovered.
What I should do now? I have considered changing the exactly samekind pcb to the hdd, but does it fix this situation? In HDD has some irreplaceable pictures which should be recovered.
