Hard disk password clear?

i got a toshiba hdd in toshiba laptop, i cleared the cmos but the hdd is locked aswell, there is an option in bios to clear hdd pass, but it requires old pass.....

and there is no way to get hold of old pass......

is there any way to reset or clear the hdd pass from the firmware.

like what kind of tools, i have so many of recovery tools, any help would be appreciated

Pc3000 UDMA - Hw and sw. Several thousand EUR/Dollar. Or make your own. Or use a pay per use service - there are many. Or ask a pro.
Or send the drive. Or...
