January 16th, 2011, 13:33

Hi all guys.. I'm very new to this board. I hope you'll understand my english...
I have an hdd coming from an wd elements external enclosure.. It spins up but bios doesn't detect it. No strange noise from it.. Here is the measures:
12v line seems ok (D4) 170kohm
5V line idem (D3) 50kohm
r64 close to 0
r67 idem
pin4 pin8 U12 3.78kohm
resistance between each 3.3v of sata power connector to gr: OpenLoad(??)
resistance between pin1 to pin54 sdram: 3.77kohm
Next step?
Tx in advance

It's not a PCB problem, FW/Head(s)/Preamp...etc.

If the data is important try to contact (BlackST) from this forum" he is from Italy". I'm sure that he can help.

Good luck
