I have 1tb Seagate external hard drive which had fallen from my hand. I was told that the head was broken now i managed to get suitable donor hard drive once the head was replaced it worked but the platters samaged the new head. Now is there a way to recover the data from that hard drive. I need someone who can help in this issue here in Dubai.
Thanks

If the data is important to you, stop now and seek the assistance of a professional. You are likely to get hosed in price because of your current attempts, but there may still be a chance to get your data back. If the data is not important to you, just toss the drive and buy a new one.

Dear Muhammad,
Was the drive opened and head assembly replaced in a clean room?

Ask him how the platters damaged the new donor head?
Is the surface OK? The head(s) got damaged during the swap?

Dear Muhammed,
I am in Dubai and we have a Class 100 facility to open HDDs. But this case, since the drive heads were already replaced and that too with the platters having scratches, I don't think we can help you to get the data.
Could you post a picture of the HDD without cover?
I think we've discussed this before when you were searching for the donor, right?
Mathew
