Formated drive = data recovery by digital signature. RAW recovery. You lost file and folder structure. There is tons of logical recovery software out there. To name a few - R-Studio, Easus, File Scavanger , Get Data Back , Recover My Files.... Get any of them, scan your drive , copy the found data ON TO ANOTHER DRIVE. If you start recovering from ur drive to ur drive u will effectively be overwriting ur data as u recover it.

If maksud just formatted the drive and didn't overwrite, why would it be RAW. And even if he did overwrite there is probably still some underlying structure to get SOME data back with filenames and folder structure.

Agere with Alexii on this one. He will have to scan for formatted HDD and more than likely all he is going to get back on this one is RAW data on it. He can still have back his data he will just have to spend the time to organize it all over again.
