Why exactly do you believe that the old (lost) HDD enclosure has set a password on the hard disk? There are other (more likely?) reasons why your new HDD enclosure does not allow your HDD to be seen by the PC. You need to give lots more details of exactly why your analysis points to a password being set on the HDD.

If you are sure that is what has happened, then MHDD can be used to erase the HDD if you don't care about the data on the disk now. You would normally need to attach the HDD direct via SATA (not via USB) and set that SATA port to IDE / compatibility mode or similar (not AHCI or similar), to allow MHDD to be able to recognise (and send the ATA Security commands to) the hard disk. Also MHDD would allow you to get confirmation that an ATA password has been set on the drive.

You can get a bootable ISO image of MHDD from the files section here:

Thanks Mr.Vulcan

I'm sure that the HDD enclosure has set a password on the hard disk, this is wrotten in the manual of enclosure...

the first time I plug the Key into HDD enclosure the password created in HDD....and when i plug the hdd in another box it doesn't work...
I tried with a laptop, the bios detecte the HDD..but when i want to start installing windows it ask for password [ hard disk protected enter password]

but when i came back to first HDD enclosure with smal key it work...

So the smal HDD enclosure created a password on HDD in order to don't use it in another PC or HDD enclosure
Really I don't care about DATA on hdd...i want just to solve my HDD ( in fact i have 2: 320 GO & 60 GO) both of theme i have insert in this fucking HDD enclosure.
i need i simple sofware can erase password on hdd, and how can i use ( on windows or dos)

Thanks Mr.Vulcan for you help...and for all memebers
