Western Digital Hard drive Siren

I have a WD1200BEVS that makes siren sound like here Stuck Spindle. http://www.salvagedata.com/docs/failed-hard-drive-sounds/

What options do i have to recover data on this drive. will I need to send it away???

You are possibly right in your diagnosis and unlikely able to do anything non-destructive yourself. I recommend you contact the forum user, "pcimage." He is in the UK and is more than capable of providing you with a reasonable quote and recovering your data.
