Hi there, I have an Seagate Momentus 5400.6 ST9500325AS, and he was passwded. How can i remove the passwd?
I`v tried the
http://www.seagateunlock.com/, and this dosen`t work, the passwords from the tutorial was not good.
Anybody has a firmware for this HDD to try with this method?
I don`t care if i lose the data, but if i can to recover anything that will be ok too.
Anybody can help me?

You need tools to do this one. Then more than likely you will be asked if it is your drive. Did you set a PW on it and forget what you set. Try checking to see if your cap lock is on or off an try both of them.

I have to push this Thread ....
Cause i have the same Problems like dgtpro..
i have an Security locked Seagate Drive Momentus 5400.6 ST9500325AS out of my Settop Box. But this STB got defective and i do not need tho replace this, but i want to use the HDD out of this.
I could not get any Firmware from Segate, cause this drive is an OEM Product....
Can anybody provide me a Firmware to delete the Security lock. There is no need to Keep the data or resolve this..
Just using this 500 GB HDD...
Thanks in advance...
