Hitachi compatibility

April 9th, 2011, 13:27

Hi

I need to do a head swap on Hitachi 2,5" drive.

Original: HTS541616J9SA00 MLC: DA1587

Donor: HTS541616J9SA00 MLC: DA1753

Will the heads be compatible, since the MLC is diferent?

Did anyone have made this experience?

Thanks

with the hitachi - turn it around and look at the sticker on PCB.
gonna be 4 lines in a row. For example
0A57128
DA2358_

Xdf842
8V8F

U need the 1st 2 lines to match. I follow this rule and dont care about MLC at all.
