ST3500820AS do not spin after a falling down

my customer reports that the hard drive was falling down,
and after that is not responsive.
in attachment there is the sound i recorded,
please put the volume at max.

to me it looks likes the motor doesn't spin.
any suggestion?

I have a ST3500320AS with exactly the same problem, same noises. Spindle motor is jammed after falling.

Time for professional service.... and clean room work.

It's beyond DIY in any case.

did u perform a platter swap? did it work?
