WD3200BJ-00KF0 can not be detected

April 24th, 2011, 19:44

Lost my Video card and tried to change motherboard. By the time I was trying to transfer my documents from my WD3200BJ to new one the WD3200BJ started making funny noise. In fact it occasionally spins up, I can hear a sound like it is loading, then I hear a single "click" and unload, tand it immediately spins down. It does it 3 or 4 time and stys down for good. I can find it via USB connection in my computer but with "0" byte.
I found another HDD with the same spec, even with the same manufacturing date and am trying to change PCB to find out if it work.
Am I doing the right thing??? is it a PCB issue??? how much is Lab cost to recover my data and who is the best guy, any review? I can see 400 sites and none giving you a good guide line but good commercials and misguiding you to Travel agaency!!! they are not much of the help. Please help me out. :|
