ST9500325AS: impotent donor

April 26th, 2011, 23:05

Help me, please! I have troubles with the subj from a portable USB set. It makes sharp noise, don't recognized by OS, slow OS loading so as the full stop. I've buy a donor with the same mark. But a simple interchanginig of the boards did'nt take an effect: BIOS (and OS) had see a zero volume of a disk. Could I make somnething "at home", because there are no service at all in our small town?
Thanks.

Looks like your drive has some mechanical problem inside HMA. Where are you from exactly? If you need data from it i will send you contacts someone nearest you.

Have you some contacts on North Ural (Perm region) from Kiev???

Mechanical problems are'nt present because the block is very silent with this new board. It's turning well, but BIOS cannot determine the size.

Спасибо, если не получится по-другому, я обращусь к нему. Но мне до Перми дальше, чем от Москвы до Владимира.
Как Вы считаете, я сам ничего сделать не смогу, имея под рукой донора?

Unfortunately, donor won't help you to solve this problem.
