7200.7 ST3200822A after head swap DRD DSC but terminal...

June 15th, 2011, 11:22

Hi guys,

Today I removed HSA (excercise) from 7200.7 ST3200822A and put it back again.
Powered on, drive is DRD DSC, entered utility in PC-3000 and after 1 minute, the drive started to move the heads, and I noticed weird terminal output.
Screens below.
Would You please tell me, what does this output states for ? Is it bad head/heads or surface? or something different?

It wasn't doing this before you removed and replaced the HSA?

to be honest I didn't notice that...

Before making head swap I've done only hdd resources backup.
I also remember that in SMART #5 position (reallocated sectors count) was about 350.
and current pending sectors was about 20.

Now I'm not sure, if terminal output from screens above is related to bad sectors which existed before head swap? or it's related to head swap process which I made?

Whatever, do You think this HSA could be used as a donor in future? or better move it to trash?
