Hi Guys,
I have a few WDC WD800BB-55JKC0 that I need the password removed on.
Can anyone provide a tool for this?
Thanks!

What kind of password is it?

Security Locked
like say a power on password for the drive

Search MHDD and password as keywords or read the documentation available (
http://hddguru.com/software/2005.10.02-MHDD/) - lots of information on this topic
Then download it and give it a shot.

MHDD looks to only work if you know the password
I have heard that this is an easy model to crack, so if anyone has a tool or process that is known to work, please share the details.
I do not have the drives in my possession, but I am in contact with the folks who do and I have given them a few things to try.
If you have a known working method for this model, please let me know.
Thanks!

I have already suggested you on linkedin to ask DR professional
This would work just fine

I have asked those professionals there, they all say "easy" but so far have not provided a solution.
I do not want to send the drives anywhere, I just want to have my guys be able to do it. If it is "easy" as is claimed, then please do tell.
I have found a few methods, and have sent them over to my guys, but so far haven't heard back (they are fairly busy with things). Meanwhile other folks say things like "yes we have a verified solution for that". So, I am just doing my due dillgence here, and would love the verified solution, if someone can provide it.
Thanks.

I think you mixing up "easy" with "free"
But anyway, good luck searching

You need to buy tools for that. You have to invest.

If you want easy & your drive is supported you could try
http://www.hdd-tools.com/products/rrs/ for $49.95 (data is safe)
Or if you dont mind losing the data then
http://www.hddunlock.com/ for $9.95
Prices are per drive.

Hi Loki,
Those are 2 that I have sent over. I need to follow up with them and see if they have tried them yet.
Thanks.

my guys said that we tried
http://www.hdd-tools.com/products/rrs/ but it did not work

Should do, if they've used it properly.
There's probably further underlying issues preventing the unlocking
