Samsung HD401J Problem

July 19th, 2011, 4:26

My old PC recently died, so invested in a new W7 laptop,
Had 3 SATA HDD's in it, all are recognised by W7 on laptop, mounted in a Sharkoon SATA Quickport Pro LAN, 2 of the HDD's removed from my PC are recognised by W7, but one, a Samsung HD401J with all my Video stuff on, is not,
Powers up in dock, you can hear it spin, then HDD starts working (you can hear it) for a short while, bout 5 seconds, then it stops, but still spinning afterwards,
Also tried it in a external HDD caddy, same result,
Nothing shows up in Disk Management or Explorer,
Any ideas pls ?

Check it out with MHDD. Suggest to read manual first.
