Hi
Hi have this HD that doesn't spin up.
I have tested the fuses, and they are OK.
So I need a replacement PCB.
My Pacient drive is:
HTS541080G9AT00 Jun-06
MLC: DA1175
PCB:
OA26798 - DA1188A
Donor:
HTS421280H9AT00 Dec-05
MLC: DA1303
PCB:
OA26790 - DA1187B
What I want to know is if the PCB can be compatible for NV-RAM swap.
Has anyone ever tested it like this?
Thanks

Dont believe all you read here is strictly true...

many times i only match MCU ... but the rule of the first 2 lines of PCB sticker never failed, I may be wrong but this was my experience.

I'm gonna test it today, and i'll post the feedback.
Thanks

Hello
Well, here's the feedback about the swap: It doesn't work
It doesn't spin either, nor the pacient or the donor....
Put the NVRAM back on their original boards, and the donor works OK.
So, I need to get a Donor PCB....
Thanks

for this PCB swap, just need to match the first line number on the PCB.
has the same number of OA26798 is the donor PCB. When you get this PCB, you need to change the NVRAM(U6 chip)
