Hitachi HTS548080M9AT00 compatibility

I've got a Hitachi HTS548080M9AT00 that seems to have died. From what I've been reading it seems that the heads are what dies 99% of the time (which might explain why the PCBs are really easy to find). I've also read that some HDDs with ATMR in the model number might be compatible and it seems like some of the IBM HDDs might also be compatible. So what I'm asking is, what HDDs would have compatible heads with a Hitachi HTS548080M9AT00?

What are the symptoms of the drive, is it making clicking noises when you power it on? Even if you have confirmed that the heads are the problem do you have the experience and environment to do a head swap? You need to know how to do it, have a perfectly clean environment to do it in, and then know what to look for in a donor. I'm afraid it's not easy to do first time around as a once off.

It clicked. A lot. I was able to get a little info off it using EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard. Then it stopped clicking. I can still hear it spinning, but it isn't recognized by the program anymore. None of the data on it is overly important so I look at it as a learning experience. I have access to a laminar flow hood at work. These are clean enough that they are used to replate plants in tissue culture without introducing any biological contaminants, meaning not so much as a speck of dust. Figuring out how to get a proper donor is what this question is about more or less. I know, ideally, I should have model number and country of origin the same and be as close to the manufacture date as I can get. I know some other numbers are likely important. Just not sure yet which ones. And yes, I expect my first time to be pretty interesting and my chances of success are pretty slim.

Suggest practicing first on a dummy drive before doing work on the target drive.
