I'm thinking of getting a laminar horizontal workbench

August 10th, 2011, 6:33

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a laminar horizontal workbench & have seen this user has a few secondhand.

Am after your thoughts on which one would be best?

The Envair or the Walker 900 look fine. Get some new HEPA filters and a service done.

Thanks CK,

I was leaning towards the Envair 1200.
Does anyone know where to get HEPA filters & a service done in the UK? or near Derby?

Thanks

Loki

Call the manufacturer and ask who is the nearest ASC, then ask for a turnkey complete maintenance quote. Sometimes you save time and money than DIY.

Thanks BlackST

Have already emailed envair & am waiting for their reply, I'll ask them about a maintenance quote too.

I'm interested to know how many forum members use laminar workbenches vs clean rooms.

We use horizontal cabinets inside a Class 100 rated cleanroom. Overkill perhaps.
