Drive recovery from unreadable P-list module

Any gurus out there that can recover data from a WD800BB with an unreadable P-list? All other mods, except for one SMART mod, can be read correctly.

If you do a self-scan on the drive itself, won't it erase the data?

Yes it will, but that's not what is being suggested. (Well at least I hope so, I can only speak for myself!)

pcimage is correct, but P-List module here should not be important if translator modules are OK.

i guess some of the replies here know exactly what am talking about
