What do you mean by "good" to use with R-Studio? What are you trying to accomplish?
The software you are running should have nothing to do with the controller selection.

What I know based on experience is that some SCSI drive models are picky and they work with some SCSI controllers and do not with other. It is really difficult to say what controllers work with what model drives, as it is one of those hundreds of combinations that no one person can possibly determine.
