this Samsung HM120JI stay always busy, it spins, the heads try to calibrate i suppose ( they make many noise like they cant find servo track )
i post the terminal log here, i think can't be heads problem:

Hi,
Most probably you got H1 damaged.
But of course, needs further checking.

to be sure i have just swapped since i had the donor in laboratory: it is not concerned from heads ( on donor they are perfectly working )
uhm firmware issue.. i try also hot swap but didn't work

Terminal output points to heads most likely. If donor heads are good then maybe media damage?

Hi Nikola, yes i suppose media demage in SA, so i wanted to find out a loader or something to put in ram and boot the hdd..

Media damage is also odd, if heads are still working fine on donor.
It could be a FW issue, but difficult to understand just like that.
Have you tried to put patient heads on donor drive ?

yes, they work like a charme on donor...

Have you checked if head map on patient and donor is the same?

It could be that the patient heads worked on patient, because one damaged head could not be in use.

yes heads are fully ok (read and write test performed) on donor.
would like to try rom swap but i cant find "25" on any chip..

In that case, there's no external ROM, it's within the CPU.
