this samsung HM400LI is so unstable in imaging, tryed to go to 32 SPT and even to 4, but when the drive enter in same critical areas start to be busy, stay busy slow down etc.
on firmware i have got this modules with errors:

p/N: HM400LI/Y
fw 2TF00_00

REF_TMR failed read
TLIST checksum
SMRT failed read
SMRT_LOG failed read
TNULIST checksum

Any ideas would be much appreciated..

Have you made a head map and tried imaging by head? Maybe you have a duff one in there.

Hi, yeah but DC could not finish head map creation (drive too instable or DC didn't manage it properly)

i found a config that is working, but really slowly: i dropped down block size to 2, skip lba at max and some slight modification at DC console on power reset behaviour.

still imaging since days and still didn't finish.

( by the way the hdd behave like this: on power on it fast shows ID, LBA correctly displayed. i can read fast all modules of firmware exept that one's i reported.
the drive is fast in imaging when there not difficoult sectors, but when meet bad sectors/slow secotrs than stuck and DC console is like freezed without display error, it stay ready, i have to off usb cable and plug in again)

i wanted to clear glist but i didn't find the module on the list.
