Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

I'm hoping that the combined expertise on this forum may be able to assist me.
I have a Samsung Model: HS12RJF - F/W: 3AL103c4 - PCB#: BF41-00255a that is in need of data recovery.
This is the first Samsung MicroSATA drive that I am working with. when power is initiated to the device nothing sees it (DDI, PC3000, BIOS, etc..), in fact the drive does not spin up at all.
While I'm searching for a compatible PCB to swap with, are there any other "issues" that I should be aware of with this drive? Will a PCB swap ruin the SA area of the drive?
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

If you own PC3000, you must know how to adapt new PCB in order to avoid any possible damage.

If you read some of the manuals of those tools, you'll get there.

If you upload a detailed photo, maybe someone could help you narrow down the problem.
