HDD Light not glowing and computer is not booting.

Hi All

Whenever I am switching on the CPU the power light is blinking but the HDD red light isnt blinking and the computer is not switching on. For the past few days the computer used to get switched off automatically. Please help.

Are you trying to say when you switch on the computer?

Either way, have to run a couple of more tests to determine the culprit. For example, remove the drive from the computer and power on or connect your drive to another computer to see if it works.

if what you mean is the computer was shutting off by itself- typically powersupply. Flashing power lite not normal. you can disconnect power to all but motherboard and see if lites steady.... best guess with information supplied.
