WD wd5000bmvv

Hello I hav a WD wd5000bmvv...it lights up but does not spin. Data recovery place there's a mechanical problem but chargers too much. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

which type you voice you listen in ur hdd. can you send me pics. what showing in drvice magaer and Disk managment.

which means NOT DETECTED = no need to chk device manager

i also noticed based on ur prev. replies to others ur using only 1 app (i think)
double chk ur posts before replying. and i suggest that u go for some reading here on this forum before the act.

Does not spin?

You mean completely dead with no noise, or some "buzz buzz" noise?
