How To Recovery Raid 0

November 20th, 2011, 7:11

I have 2 harddisk Sata 500gb, with hp Smart Array 600 , Server was Died. I didn't know original raid configurations but have 3 partition (c,d,e).
I was try to reconstructur with Raid 0, Stripe Size 64kb, start sector 0 ( Recomended Runtime Raid Reconstructor), but only partition e can open (folder displayed with corrupted file).

Size Start header for Raid 0 hp smart Array?

Thanks .

Both disks have MBR. Seems you have initialized second disk and windows has wrote new MBR to it. This is why working from imaged copies is preferred.

Here you have no offset. Start sector is 0.

If there is problem with configuration then it is with block size. Possibly you have damage to data. Try smaller block size first.

Most of the time, for HP raid, you have another parameter to find : delay !
EDIT : my mistake : not for raid 0. Sorry
