I want to be honest: the drive fallen from about 30-35 centimetres inside a generic USB aluminium box drive. I'd reconnected the drive again to the pc because the sounds were absolutely clear, no clicks and no strange noises... and it was still working like a charme! After 10 minutes the pc frozen and the hard disk wasn't recognized anymore... Any chance to get it working by PCB swap?

Ma va' ? Non l'avrei mai detto :D
(Oh really ? No wonder :D)

Pessima idea (a really bad idea).

5 Minuti prima di morire era vivo- vedi punto precedente (5 minutes before it died, it was alive - see above)

(It's like asking : with a broken carburetor, is there any hope to make the car start again by changing the steering wheel ?)

So said , you need a proper diagnose hoping head damage did not affect media. In any case, for such a problem , several "green bills" (= 100 EUR note) is the average quote - otherwise the other options are storing it in a safe place waiting for better times, or accept the loss and carry on.
