ask ebay seller about password. What did the auction say about state of hdd?
If seller can't help you, then this is most likely a stolen/fake hdd and you should contact ebay or paypal about it (I guess). "Used" auctions on ebay means the item is used BUT usable, so if it asks for password, then it is NOT usable, therefore report the auction.

But one needs to know more information before can tell about what you should do.

I am confused by your Chinese post.

Is the password problem with the original (patient) drive or with the eBay (donor replacement drive)?

Did the power interruption occur with old (patient) or new (donor) drive?

If the drive still has the default master password, then try a secure erase with CMRR HDDerase:

In a nutshell : after power failure drive not seen anymore and MHDD show "PWD" on , etc. etc.

If so, something in the FW is screwed, and PWD set is a "symptom" (but unfortunately it is not the unique one....)

Someone just contacted me and advised me that he was able to recover his 7200.11 drive using the standard "0 LBA" fix. In his case the diagnostics were reporting that his drive had a non-standard master password. At least I think that's what he was trying to tell me ...
