MK8025GAS Read SA but cant read Data

Not sure on this one,

Dropped, heads replaced. Comes ready with little effort.

Trying to read with no joy on UDMA or DDI.

any ideas, Just backed up SA no problem but getting it to read is a different matter

What happens when you try to access sectors?

All timeout on DDI , can't get anything out it.

Yellow reds blacks on 3k and hangs. Goes no where.

Gonna try new heads I think

maybe motor is failing or g list problem.

to be sure, put back heads to donor and see if they work. If they do, then it is either head incompatibility with patient or some other problem as HDD Spaz says.

Often Glist needs to be cleared. Also sometimes sectors need multiple read retries to read. Alternatively, it could be an issue with the media or compatibility.

(I see many Toshiba and also Fujitsu 2.5" where surface is bad but heads are good, not sure why)

glist and smart cleared, gonna f - about with it see if i can get it to read .
