Hi guys,
Any one knows if this model have any problem?
Because i have this drive and when i connect to PC3K the drive became Ready but when i go to the family gives me error.
When i Select the Family "HTS5410G9" he gives me error in tecno key, but i'm prety sure that is the family of this drive.
Its strange because the drive spin, i doesnt hear the heads moving also doesn't make any noise.
I remove the heads to see in Microscope and they don't seam to be damaged.
I have pictures of the 4 of them. If any one knows what is the problem please reply.
I have a donor drive if it needs parts.
Thanks in advance.

I bet preamp is dead, that's why heads doesn't unpark.
I would swap heads and check.

Seems headstack problem to me too, unless there is something really weird somewhere else.
