Samsung HD203WI 2TB -> detected as 1TB ?!

January 9th, 2012, 3:25

Greetings forum,

I have a problem with one 2TB hard drive from samsung. It is detected as 1TB in bios. I tried the drive on several different computers and the situation is the same.

As i searched in google i found the download page for the hard drive but didn`t manage to find any firmware there: http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?locale=en-AU&name=samsung-downloads&vgnextoid=21cd7e75d9583310VgnVCM1000001a48090aRCRD

If anyone have any idea how to fix this drive please write me a comment here.

Thank you all for your time.

Best regards!
