WD 1600JS-60MHB1

Hi

I have this HDD with problems in some modules, as you can see on the picture.

Can't find a SD fw for it (only .rpm).

I think the problem is caused by the RBBLIST and G-List modules, right?
I have tried to clean G-List, but it gives an error. Tried to repair FW, no go either. Tried to Regenerat Translator, nothing.
I can't update those modules from a donor, right? So, how to bypass these errors?

Thanks

Hi,
Files mod and rpm are binary format files!!! (different are only the file extensions)

You have to rewrite the modules 32 and 34 from another disk (the same version of the F/W)
Clean the g-list and recalculate translator

ISTM that Secondary MOD 34 may be OK.

AIUI, MOD 100 contains the version numbers of each of the major MODs. If you have it, I can analyse it for you.

Here is an example from a ROYL drive:

Code:
Dump of MOD table in MOD 100, sorted by MOD ID
