which is the best software for diagnostic correctness of hard disks?
Is that mhdd, hdat2 or sometnihg else???

It would really depend on your needs and maybe your operating system. There is a list on here http://hddguru.com/software/ that will tell you the different features of the programs. Also many manufacturers of hard drives provide a diagnostic tool specific to there hardware.
