Component burnt out

Seagate Hard-disk ST3160215A (160GB) Barracuda 7200.10

Hi,
One of my Seagate Hard-disk ST3160215A (160GB) Barracuda 7200.10 is not working. While working on that Hard-disk I found strange smell and white Fumes coming out of Hard-disk. After that whenever I "Power On" the computer it is not at all coming up - completely dead. I opened the Hard-disk circuit and found one of the component was burnt out. I want to change the component in the circuit.
I heard that is a TVS diode and the letters found to be QA R830. Can anyone tell me the specification of that diode or the component. I have attached the two images (normal and macro) of the hard-disk circuit and the burnt out component is marked in red.

Search "TVS" in this forum

It's a 5V TVS diode. An SMAJ5.0A will substitute for it.

After replacing I would clean the contacts. I wonder what "working on that hard disk" means for it to cause the burnt component.
