Seagate ST3250820AS: ERR App Code incompatible SFL code

The HDD can't be detected by PC BIOS. After checking via COM Port by using TTL converter, I read these messages:

ERR Read App Code

The HDD can't enter others levels (e.g. /1, /2, /3, /T, etc.).

Any other command was INCAUTIOUSLY entered ? ( * cough ! * )

According to what REALLY happened, you can forget it. Let's hope for the best, but it seems the result of incautious tinkering with commands OR attempt to fiddle with the firmware / electronics.

It is the first time I'm using the COM port to communicate with the HDD. I hope to save my private data at home.

The command R4: to read in the App Code

But it seems not work. The return code A6, refer to the info from the internet, it means "Application Code not Compatible".

I don't know what I can do next then. Help me please. Thanks a lot !!!

Vain hope.
The drive has OTHER problems and takes much more than a COM converter and hyperterminal.
Many commands of just 1 letter ( !! ) kill the drive in a flash.
And forget the internet.

Or can I buy a HDD PCB to fix the problem?

No it's not the PCB unless you have already done "something" with it.

Dear all, what happened to my HDD indeed? What's lost? or what to be written to it?
Can I step by step to check what tables/parameters are missing?
