i need any help with my external HDD.

dear all
i have been had a dell lap top which has got a power supply damge,i removed the interrnal HDD to use it as external and get my data.(i used BIOS pass word with that laptop),now when i connect this HDD as external i can not see the two partions, and in the diskmangment i coud see onle one unllockted partion.
please help be to get it back to wrok, and where can i get applications that could help me.

I think you have 2 options one is to either borrow or buy or fix the dell laptop to install the drive back into to remove the password or go to this site and pay the small fee to remove the password from the drive if I am reading your post correctly

the two solutions you have told ar'nt possible ,i need to get my prations back even if i format it and recovered back, is that possible. plz relpy

the drive is locked, i doubt you would even be able to format it, which is something you should not do anyways if you want the data. The drive NEEDS to be unlocked to access the data area of the drive.

I agree with the previous poster, fix the laptop ( or get another dell laptop) or go to that site and have them unlock it. Or find a reputable data recovery firm in your area and have them do it.

Yes both will work and A-FF for 50.00 will unlock the drive.
