Seagate terminal commands

Hi everyone
I don't remember password for my old hdd. I have a terminal, but I don't know the commands to get the password.
Does anybody know it?

Regards

If you can prove that it is actually your disk and not one that has been obtained then you can try to send it to one DR company close to you to unlock it. Terminal commands alone can not help you out. Sorry

I think it's time to define some rules about all these "help me crack/recover/unlock password" requests.

Anyway, no terminal command alone (unless you want to perform some TOTALLY DESTRUCTIVE action) can help, that's right.

I can prove that. But I don't want to send it. What do you mean by "not alone" What else do I need?

One it is totally against anyone who does this work to offer advise to unlock a password on a HDD. There is legal obligations and being on a forum we have no proff what so ever that this drive really belongs to you and why you want it unlocked. Your only legal way to unlock this one is to take it to someone who can verfiy this is your HDD or buy a program that will unlock it and wipe the HDD clean when it does. Think about it will somene make a key for you for a car without proof of legal ownership. I do not think so. Why should be unlocking a HDD any different.
