May 7th, 2012, 17:13

Hi there,

i have a 2.5 Ide Hitachi C25N080ATMR04-0, FW: MO4OAD4A that is locked by password that i cant find which it its, at Vitoria program it shows: This drive locked by ATA password!
Can anyone help me to solve this problem? I saw someone working with MHDD to find some binary file from a Western Digital hd which can has the encrypted password, but i want to know if its possible to do the same with this hitachi hd?

Don't mix those problems.
If your hitachi locked with ata pass , it doesn't relate to wd encryption issue. And i doubt it just locked with user pass especially when you don't know it. Most probably, it has damaged SA area.
