Plz help

I have 1Tb verbatim external hard disk. Due to some malfunction it is not detcted by system. i opened the hard disk. i found the reader head gets damanged and tha first platter also damaged. How can i replace it. where can i get the parts in kuwait. because i am staying in kuwait

Opened drive non clean room.... Platter damaged...Heads likely gone... best recovery method is likely lineing up by hand all the 1's and 0's exactly like they were on your old drive onto a new one. Hope you had a backup, in other words. Good luck.

I am sorry but you can not just replace a head and a platter on the HDD and expect it to work again. If your heads are damaged as you say they are, drive is opened, and one platter damaged sounds like a head crash on this one and there will not be any data to get back. There are some DR companies where you are but considering the amount of damage you have described I think you will waste time to go there and find out that the results are the same and it is not possible to get off your data.
