I am looking for information about Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 serial terminal - similar to one on Seagate drives (if it does have one). I need both pins and some manual for it.
To be honest I seriously think about dumping all record about bad sectors (they could appear for same reason as on other Hitachi drive, which I posses) and low-level format of whole drive (if possible).
I have Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 drive, which is loosing address marks, so maybe the other drive have same problem. I can risk all data as this data could be easily recreated (server Xen drive).
Any help appreciated.
