Dell Latitude E6410 HDD password lost

June 25th, 2012, 0:26

Hi,
I have forgotten my HDD password and because I am living in a sanctioned country Dell Company won't asist me with this issue.
This is my personal laptop and I have personal files on it.
The serial number is: 5VJ7CE60-1F5A
Service tag: C077VM1

I have contacted several hdd recovery companies regarding the issue and the only solution they provided me is to take the hdd out and change the hdd board or chipset. I am looking for safer and less painful way to recover the information and the hdd.

Several people recommend this website to me and I have already tried mhdd software with no help.
I want to know is there any way I can access my data or I Must buy a new HDD?
I have discussed the issue in several forums and still waiting to get expert's opinion toward this matter.

Regards,

I changed the drive to ATA and Now happily "Dell secure manager" provided me access to the drive by giving the pre-boot password. (enrolling my finger print)
Now MHDD can detect the drive but it says the Drive is locked by ATA Password.

Any idea?
