If this is the model i am thinking of...
If i remember these drives...the is a nut on the bottom for the motor assembly and a screw for the heads.
Unscrew the ribbon cable from the inside of the drive that connect the heads to the board. Screw the Top cover back on the one for the platter and for the heads. turn it over unscrew the nut and the heads screw. If all goes correct you should be able to take the top cover off with the heads and the motor ( and platters ) intact. Then you can slide the heads off.
These are a a pain but it can be done.
the nut has three divits in it. You can use a pair of pliers to loosen it up
you will also need to remove the pin cable from the board bins and let it hang inside. There are two magnet screws on
also remove the screw and the black head spacer
