Seagate Hard drive partition of it not mounting

July 11th, 2012, 2:56

Hello,

I was using 1TB as a time machine drive for mac but one day it crashed so i have to format it.
I format it in FAT32 but now i have lost 400GB as it only shows 600GB and rest of it doesn't even mount also when i see in disk utility in mac i can see another portion but unable to repair it as its unmountable.

while running any kind of software program like disk drill its says 1TB drive but cannot get the partition back.

I am running out of any idea to get this 400GB back,I would be thankful if i can get my 400gb of space back and more importantly data.
