Seagate ST3500630AS PCB with chip ST V520AA

Hello!

I have a pcb broken (Seagate) with chip st v520AA and also I have an identical pcb but have chip TTB43980.

If I change the chip and eeprom may I run the pcb on that hard drive?

It doesn't matter that the main chips are different. Just make sure you match the PCB number etched on the other side of the PCB, example: 100530756 REV A

And don't worry about REV A either, REV A works with REV B work with REV C etc.

Swap ROM onto PCB with matching PCB number and, if only PCB was the problem and ROM is not damaged, drive should work.

The hard disk is running well. I had a problem with a track connector. The owner of the hard drive went crazy for a moment. No other explanation. :lol:
