HDDSurgery tool vs Stiction

August 8th, 2012, 12:20

Hi,

I am looking at buying their tools & was wondering if there head removal tools are any good at releasing drives suffering from stiction?
Am wonder if there is just enough lift to release the head from the platter & minimise the risks as much as possible?
Either way I will get the tools as they are professional & well made.

Thanks

Loki

Hi pinoy

Thanks for confirming that for me.
I couldnt see why it wouldnt work. Its like 2 tools in one :D
Thought the way the tool works it would minimumise the risks & also make it easier ie releasing a head suffering from stiction say under the top platter which are harder to get too.
